The Editor in chief of the New Crusading Guide Mr. Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr has condemned the actions of some chiefs in this country for endorsing the presidential candidates for the National Democratic Congress(NDC) and the New Patriotic Party(NPP) that visit them and assuring them, we will give you 85% of total votes and others.
According to Mr. Baako they are disgracing themselves and they must put a stop to it. Because you the chief giving those assurance to the President and Nana Addo they might not even be able to do what they are saying
Mr. Baako believes that the Chieftaincy institution is one of the institution in this country that must be given all the respects it deserves and if politics gets in there we are dead as a country. Chiefs must be respected and must be fighting for their people not partisan politics. He said what the chiefs are doing are 'dirty' and it has to stop because as chiefs they are the last people we as citizens will rush to after politicians have failed us and if they also come into partisan politics then that institution too will dead as other institution have already
