Where Did You Learn Your Journalism From Emelia Brobbey Ask Okukuseku?

Sweet and Calm Emelia Brobbey the actress was not sweet today as she descended on Nhyira FM’s Okukuseku for trying to disgrace her with his false lies and cheap journalistic posture of listening to one side

Emelia runs a non-governmental organization and a few weeks ago she led a team to organize a charity concert to appeal to people and get some funds and support orphanage homes she did one last year to support the same course. The programme was a success with big businessmen, chiefs and other celebrities filled the venue Golden Tulip Kumasi City.  

Her main reason for that charity concert was to gain money and support an orphanage home in the Ashanti Region to complete a classroom block for the children because her project in Sunyani last year was to help complete a dining hall of an orphanage home. But weeks after the charity concert people did not hear from Emelia and her team again. So the entertainment host on Nhyira FM Okukuseku went on to call Emelia a lair and someone who talks because they called the manager of that orphanage home that Emelia claimed she was getting money to support them to complete their classroom so has he heard from Emelia after the concert and he said NO. The entertainment host went on air and bash Emelia because weeks had gone pass and nothing from her. He said some celebrities can take monies on behave of poor people and spend them because there were many people there and a lot of people made promises so she made money

Emelia this afternoon speaking on Kessben Fm said the money they got at the programme was not up to 2,000ghc so she had to wait and gather some money and add to it and send to the orphanage home. The programme and the money we got at the programme is on YouTube so people can go and watch for themselves.

She said God has been so good she has gotten 10,000ghc and sent it to the orphanage home this past Wednesday. She was asked are you in any way hurt that is why you rushed to send the money because you promised to buy the cement and things for yourself and take to them so why did you only send the money. She replied she is really hurt by the conduct of that so called OKUKUSEKU. She said her fellow actor was on that show he could not even call her but they all said a lot of things about her without listening to her side of the story “what sought of journalism is that” you hear things and will not call people to respond. Emelia said she leaves them all to God. But either I sent it by myself or not now they have the money they can do it by themselves. I cannot serve God truly but I do these things to help people as my work to God and not to look good in the sight of people.
