TV and radio presenter Caroline Sampson has disclosed that her issue with singer, Mzbel made her quit her job as co-host of Celebrity Fanzone on Viasat 1.
Speaking on “Tonight” show on Viasat 1, she said being very blunt on the show did not go down well with a lot of industry players which resulted in her decision to quit.
“I am not really the type that succumbs to a lot to pressure from outside, but this one got to me … especially the issue with Mzbel. It wasn’t solely fair to me.
I think it got to the point where I cared so much about what others thought of what I said on the show because we are in an industry where a lot of people just don’t like criticisms, they only want the praise, so when issues come and we talk about it and am very blunt, the subjects and objects of interest, there at the time tend to think I hate them, so I was like, you know what let me just chill and come on as guest every other time,”
Last year, Caroline Sampson and Mzbel had a fight over the father of the singer’s son. Caroline who was a co-host on Celebrity Fanzone on Viasat 1 said Mr. Kofi Amoabeng, UT boss was the man responsible for Mzbel’s son. According to Caro on the TV show, Mzbel sent her a message confiding in her the man who impregnated her.
“I had a private chat with her (Mzbel) on BBM and she told me Prince Kofi Amoabeng is the father of her child. She is my friend and I believed what she told me. Prince Kofi Amoabeng has also come out saying, he is not the father”
This revelation did not go well for Mzbel who denied having a private chat with Caroline about the father of her son. Hours after Caroline’s comment on the TV show went viral, Mzbel also took to her instagram page to call her out saying she is not her friend so why would she disclose such a sensitive information to her.
